Sweet Ol` Miss Shirley’s
December 15, 2008 at 10:30 am | Posted in Dessert, Travels | 4 CommentsThe gang (8!) got together for brunch last Sunday for positively delicious fare and hilarious/sad recounts of the insanity that ensued the night before at Miss Shirley’s in Roland Park!

This place is so homey and crazy (especially on Sunday morning’s for brunch). All of the food I have ever had there is top notch. Check out some dishes below!
Thou who must never be named again (He is Voldemort now- all things considered…
) got the crab benedict. He ate the whole thing.

I got the french toast with a Pear Ginger Almond Compote. The ginger and almonds complemented this dish nicely but the balled pears were cold! Very shocking to my palate… So I ate everything except the weird pear balls at first and then after I finished the french toast, they were a nice palate cleanser!

In the future, I hope to go there with people I actually care about (and vice versa) so that I can enjoy the food and company thoroughly!

I guess you didn’t care about the company this time then

Ha! Voldemort! That’s funny. You know, I was there a few weeks ago and thought it was really overpriced and kind of sub par food

Seriously?
And you didn’t say anything to the manager?
Boo on you!
