Off to have a Sip & Bite in Canton…
November 11, 2008 at 3:17 pm | Posted in Dessert, Travels | 5 CommentsAfter our stroll around the JFX Farmer’s Market, Julie, Meg and I headed over to Canton for some delicious fare at Sip & Bite! At the market, I picked up some cauliflower, fresh herbs, carrots and onions! Meg took some awesome pictures (as usual
) and Julie got some squash, herbs, a huge cauliflower (that weighed nearly 10 lbs I swear!) and lots of other heavy things! ha…

This is my first time to Sip & Bite after seeing it there on that corner for nearly 5 years! I am very glad we stopped in.
Meg and I both chose the challah french toast. Loved it! The bread was so fresh and light and I paired this with a glass of grapefruit juice. Now you might have noticed that I am a fiend for french toast…well you see it is “french” and its typically a sweet dish… so there we go!

Julie got the meditteranean omelet with lots of fresh veggies and feta cheese (I believe!), which she loves and I can definitely see why!

Sip & Bite is your quintessential Baltimore greasy spoon kind of spot. The locals, whether it be hipsters, guidos or true Baltimorons, all stopped in early that Sunday morning and now I can see why! Nice and attentive service with simple delicious food.

I’ve also walked by that place several times and never stopped. Thanks for the review.

Been to Sip and Bite a few times. It wasn’t bad. The New Wyman Park Restaurant on 25th and Howard is super for breakfast.
